Some things in the news, since I’ve been slow to update:

Abortion may be brought before the Supreme Court, with the opportunity to overturn Roe v Wade. This comes from South Dakota’s new law putting harsh fines and jail time on doctors who practice abortions.

The Montana Governor is going to be on 60 minutes tonight, discussing turning coal into diesel fuel. This is an expensive process made possible by high oil prices, that has the chance of reducing our dependence on oil (and hopefully our reliance on coal power plants).
